Athena's Creation

A Titaness in love,

Blinded by his godly power.

She is only a fling to him,

But he cannot deny

The mistake he has made.

A prophet sits and laughs,

"Foolish god.

Never thinking before leaping.

He has sealed his fate

Now."

He felt his options sealing off.

A child fated

to overthrow

his reign,

In his fling's womb.

One option left.

One option visible.

Get rid of the mother,

Get rid of the daughter.

It only takes one bite.

Months go by,

His headache

steadily grows.

Something isn't right.

He can barely think.

The pain reaches

It's peak.

A swing of the hammer,

And it escapes.

The pain fades.

A daughter is born.

Armor and beauty

Stands before him.

The goddess of wisdom,

And War.
