Artistic Differences

The artist who uses blood for paint
The boy who needs to love
Her passion and fury she fears will taint
One like a gentle dove

Pure of heart and chaste as gold
With a scratched aluminum girl
Knowledge held in hands so old
As her wings begin to unfurl

Like Rosalind and Romeo
A beginning she claims it be
But the poor boy just can’t let go
As she soars away so free
