it cannot
it's shivering and timid and
clamoring and there and
puddled and huddled. it cannot.
pouting and loudly around it cannot.
mostly it's shared but also it's mine
Apathy plagues the shoulder of it all
then digs it's claws, and gnaws, and paws.
gushing deep and flowing free
it cannot.
it shouldn't last, when it hurts
but we make it last, scabbed and scarred it burns.
WHY DON'T THEY CARE
have a cause, know your rights, reach out
if trickle down the ideals of now,
the future will be sloths.
