Apathetic

Free-for-all America turns itself into thirds:

Democrats, Libertarians, Republicans.

Ideals upon policies upon slanders building on each other

Make the basis.

But never a sound comes from the reasonable.

No, the ones with the base opinions turn to silence,

And leave the acids to run politics.

Now we settle for radical ideas and laws.

The common man belives he is his moniker:

Common.

So he stays quiet,

Lets other people decide his future.

And goes about his daily life turning into silence.

To save face,

To save ignorance,

Or just being apathetic.
