Anxiety

Laying calmly this cold night

I hear a noise and jump with fight

What has awoken and made me nauseous

Was the monster living in my subconscious

I fight the anxiety swelling inside

I feel the need to find a guide

My greatest fear is this pain

But, I have found a way to train my brain

Now I live without this feeling

I have started the process of healing

Instead of staying up all night

I fought this anxiety and made it right
