antithesis (1/11/20)
we're both drawn to extremes,
waltzing with opposites.
it's an awe-inspiring, complicated dance.
i've never learned the steps, yet i feel like i've known them my whole life.
it leaves me breathless every time.
every part of us seems like a contradiction,
but i guess i'm used to those.
you build me up while you lay me down.
the chilly caress of your fingertips starts a fire inside of me so hot, it blazes all the way up to my cheeks.
our long hours spent together morph into mere minutes when i'm missing you.
right now they feel like milliseconds.
