And So Is The World - The Story of a Veal Calf

I am black and white and small,

And so is the world.

And where have they taken her, my mommy,

I remember, she was tall.

But I don't think she could make it here,

not in this world, not at all.

Finally! Finally they've let me out,

let me walk, let me stand.

But I'm trying, it hurts so bad,

and I can't.

And now I know what's coming.

I do not want to see.

I close my eyes,

Count 1, 2, 3...

And now my body sits in the freezer curled

I'm dead

And so is the world
