And All The Giants Fall
They step over mountains
they flatten our trees, chewing them up and spitting out green-
Although they eclipse us mortals on earth
Ever taller they tower, over our heads they glower
never enough, never satisfied-
Invisible they tread
Our homes become stepping stones-
quiet, for such monumentous beasts
Greed, Ignorance, and Predjudice they are named
frightful and slimey- Unstopable
If only I had the chance
I would raise my own giants, and arm them with weapons of Mass Creation
Out of the Earth, it's people,
Rise! Tolerance, Selflessness, and Dreamer
restore the plenty of altruism.
In the end, there are no Giants-
only the Individuals who transform into legends.
In the End, All the Giants Must Fall
