Before and After
confinment
to this body, this place, this time
doomed to live this day
over and over again
a wave crashes on to shore
steady as the old grandfather clock
the path worn down to dust
what other worlds I dream
creatures unseen
people unheard
places untouched
your words bring me there
I will live a thousand lives
hold countless hearts in my heart
I will walk the roads
paved in your mind
new understanding
new point of view
new me and new you
thank you
