How could you love me,

When there was nothing good in me?

 

'Til the point you actually died

On my behalf to prove that you love me.

You took away my shame and erased every sin.

You were hurt cos of my disobedience

I was focused on the exterior while my interior was a mess

You came into my life and gradually turned my heart away from selfishness.

 

I was a captive

Addicted to the skin on my screen, deep in sin

Until you came in on the scene and rescued me from the unseen (battles)

 

Forces of evil contending for my heart

The debt I owed you payed all not in part

 

So tell me, how could you love a man like that?
