I've wrote about angels

I've wrote about devils

And every monster in between

It's easier to write about

The things I've never seen

My imagination gets to play

While reality takes a back seat

I frolick in knowing the unknown

I act ignorant of defeat

It's the only way I know how to live

Without getting depressed by the world

I've had enough of hard truths

I'm make believe's favorite girl

Ask where to find me and maybe I'll tell you

But it won't be on the first try

Call me difficult if you like

I prefer the term sly

I'll never grow up if I can help it

I'll remain a child to my core

Because the beauty of a child's mind

Is they're always dreaming of more
