All I Need

Life without you equates to a life without passion,

A life with little feeling and very little meaning.

Life without you means life without love.

Life with no compassion, my body left with no reaction.

A life without you just doesn’t exist,

For I can’t imagine as my heart resist.

Life without you will not go on,

It’ll leave me broken in pieces, beat and scorn.

A life where your smile is no longer there,

Will leave me breathless, lifeless and gasping for air.

You are the one person I can’t live without,

The only person I’d ever write a poem about.

God introduced you as my mother and you play the part,

So well that I could never, ever imagine spending our lives apart.

This poem is about:
My family
