Alana Leaves

I watch you as you turn and walk away,

I know what I did was not okay.

I lied, I tormented, than I lied a little more,

And because I love you I can’t tell you what I did it for.

All you ever tried to do was help me and lift my heart off the ground.

You thought you saw something special yet it was a monster you found.

Those cuts on my wrist were from a long time ago,

Those black eyes were from someone (thank god) you didn’t know.

With you not here not only did my heart freeze,

But it also became the day of when Alana leaves.

Little did I know you were coming right back,

But because I didn’t my heart started to crack.

I should’ve known you would never leave me,

Because you love me and who I will come to be.
