Addiction affliction

I been on a hot streak to run my life to a place much to bleak....
Took a pit stop at the corner of depression and despair.....
A place much to familiar, god knows Ive already been there....
As I sit at the bench of contemplation, the fog of false emotion began to fade....
Soon after.... in a pool of my own regret I start to wade....
In my head there is an ever lasting fight...
One that if I hope to win, I must give all my might....
My life is a product of my decision, and Im tired of destroying with such precision....
A step tword the light I must make....
If any further into darkness.... afraid my soul.... the devil may take.
