Now I walk
History for a Dream
Now I walk
Forever as it seems

Separate but Equal,
The lie made for peace
Cannot bring justice,
As long as its on lease.

The rights of the white,
Should be the rights of us all.
But their blind hatred,
Gives reason to brawl.

I can pray for an end,
But I don’t see that light.
Why should I stop though,
From continuing the fight.

Today marks a day,
That the blacks will unite.
Washington we march,
A new chapter, we will write.

Now I walk
History for a Dream
Now I walk
Forever as it seems
