9 times out of 10
Use your third eye.
Be socially aware, yet not too socially aware.
Accept your history, although no one else will.
Get an eduction.
Be smart, yet not too smart.
Try to get ahead, although you will never be.
Enjoy your youth.
Have fun, but not too much fun.
Hang out with your friends, although you'll be looked at as hoodlums.
Be proper.
Dress nice, but not too nice.
Have an extensive vocabulary, although people will accuse you of "talking white."
Do this, be that.
But at the same time, don't.
Your efforts will be looked over nine times out of ten.
