We've turned into monsters
Said we never would
Saw it shown on t.v.

It could happen to you
I heard them all say,
Never say never
'Cause never's today.

I cringe when I see
The ads on t.v.
For some starving child
In foreign countries.

Who would ever do
Something like that to you?
Don't be surprised
If I tell you it's true.
