“Somewhere in America”

Somewhere in America, a child is born

With a dream in their eyes and a fire in their soul

But somewhere in America, that flame is dimmed

By the harsh realities of a world that's not always kind

Somewhere in America, a mother cries

For the son she lost to the streets, to the guns, to the lies

Somewhere in America, a father screams

For the daughter he couldn't protect, for the system that failed to beam

Somewhere in America, a people rise

With a voice that's loud and clear, with a message that won't be denied

They demand justice, equality, and freedom too

For the rights that were promised, but never truly came through

Somewhere in America, a movement's born

With a spirit that's unbreakable, with a will that's sworn

To challenge the status quo, to fight for what's right

To shine a light in the darkness, to ignite the night

Somewhere in America, a change is coming

With a new generation rising, with a new era humming

A change that's fueled by hope, by love, by the desire to be free

A change that's driven by the courage to be me.
