The Hole

Thu, 01/16/2020 - 11:23 -- ktemple

Darkness,

that's all I can see.

How can it be?

One moment I was high and mighty.

The next, I was knocked off my throne.

Cast aside, I was.

Banished to this unforgiving hole.

I hear the voices.

Harsh, tormenting, deafening.

But then, a light.

A blinding light.

A white light.

And then robes.

I was being raised out of this abyss.

St. Jude, my savior.
He raised me back.

Again, I am human again.
