No Change, No Future
A comfort zone prevents transition
No alteration being made to an ambition
Locked up in a desolated cell
While months turn into years
And then they wonder why envy comes
A plague that eliminates all traces of reasoning
Oblivious to the damage that is being made
Pretending that life is a fairytale with endings that are sweet as candy canes
While the crowd outside of their bubble says otherwise
Passion doesn’t do any harm
Neither is attempting
It’s like making a garden
Plant the seeds and give them proper care
Watch them grow and eventually bloom
But standing still
With scribbles and stale ingredients
Praying for a hand or two to pick them up
Is not how things work
Either find the courage to move forward
Or go backwards instead
Descend from a steep cliff
And witness them fade
