Final Goodbye
Salty tears run down my face
I finished last in this long race
You had vansihed without a trace.
My stomach tight, my mouth tart
I lost your love, your reckless heart
Now someone else has a head start.
We had made it through countless trials
But now there's no more laughs and smiles
I won't be walking down any aisles.
I had the vulnerability of a small fawn
Never thought I'd be the one you cheat on
Maybe it is a good thing you are gone.
Thank you for opening my oblivious eyes
Your innocent ocean blues were just a disguise
I hope other girls will be much more wise.
I feel something inside me slowly die
I guess this must be our final goodbye
After all, our forevers were just a lie.
