Art. Words with sound - art in all its splendor.  There is more than meets the eye. Behind every song, every sound There is a hidden meaning. Our job is to find that meaning.   Where do we find it? Sometimes it is difficult. The words tell a story. We hold on to the melody. Harmony is peace. Meaning - history, melody and peace. Different. Different for different people. Different for different cultures. Despite the difference, it all makes sense.   What is Hispanic music? The struggles of prejudice. The light of hope. The tears of our families. The results of hard work. The blood of past wars. The fight for an age of justice. That is Hispanic music: A culture that I cannot live without.
