Ode to A Dream

A life within a life is what we all have

Asleep in our beds, eyes shut so tight

Imagination running wild like dogs in a field

Sweet times of an ode to a dream

The sea of our minds flows free, unbarred

Fires brimming with our self made stories

The Winds howling with sounds of dreams

And the Earth shakes when the slumber is stirred

Let this be what is remembered

That being ungrateful for a dream is disgraceful

Let this be what is learned

An ode to a dream in a mischievous mind
