Although life may be stressful and torn,

Although life can cause hurt and pain,

My life includes some of life's best gifts,

The gift of fellowship I gain.

My brother says everything is awesome,

and to that I think I agree.

Life may be troubling and crazy and rough,

but I am happy as I can be.

My family supports, my friends are present,

I have achieved and earned so much.

I can enjoy my freedom because of the soldiers who fought,

and negativity will not be my crutch.

Although I may not have all of life's desires,

I am glad I do not life in strife.

I have much more than I can dream,

I am in AWE of SOME of the things in my life.
