Perfection is Flawed
Locations
What makes me flawless is the color of my skin
They try to determine it by the texture of my hair
And simply not by the person with in
I am perfectly flawed into a flawless perfection
People talk, yes it's true
But if you were as flawless as me you'd talk to
I'm a walking flaw to society
So when I walk by their becomes an attack of anxiety
The shade of my skin and my history makes me the strongest
Born into a culture that has been shut down & out for the longest
I am flawed by perfection into perfection
Sin may not be the color of your selection
Blessed with a flaw that makes me flawless
Too bad they can't see it because they're so cautious
I was born like this and I wouldn't change it
One young, flawless, black woman & there's no way to rearrange it
