As I stand in the mirror everyday

I think about what changes I've made

what chances I took

The regrets I have 

The life I've lived

The years ahead

I realize what I used to be

is not the key

Because of the mistakes I have made

I know now that I must behave

I can stop and say hi and wave

And know that I'm not a slave.
