Flaws to me

Are like a dinner plate

At a buffet

All you can eat

And after 9pm it’s free

But you won’t find many girls at Hometown

Because they’re too busy watching what they eat

Me,

I’m sitting in the booth closest to the “Flaws” bar

I start off with a plate of black heads, and acne scars

Seconds include a spoonful of cellulite with a side of stretch marks

Lucky for me, I have room for plate number three

So many flaws, I have to choose wisely

I go with my go-to’s

Love handles, bitten nails, and a gapped tooth

After round three, I’m craving something sweet

Dessert is calling my name

I scoop up some pudding labeled “insane”

Grab a handful of cookies with a temperamental taste

And a slice of “nerdy pie” fills my brain up with insight

I recline inside my booth

I see a few boys pass

In a loud whisper one says, “damn she’s fat”

Little does he know, I’ll always smile back

Because what you consider a “flaw”

I consider “flawless”

You could try to change me up

But sorry, “I woke up like this”
