Looking &Seeing
What do others see
When they look at me?
Is it my love for photography?
No.
Is it my caring personality?
No.
Is it that I am an honest person?
No.
They see my
"Beautiful smile"
"Gorgeous hair"
And my "Perfect body".
Is that seeing me?
No.
Most notice me
But they do not see me.
Some do though.
And they see who I really am.
They see that I have morals.
They see that I am intelligent.
They see I am faithful.
They see that there is more to me
Than just looks.
I know there is.
I know I am generous.
I know I am hard-working.
I know I am passionate.
I know I am creative.
I know I have a good heart
And that I am a decent person.
I know there is a difference
Between looking at someone
And seeing them.
So what do others see
When they look at me?
I have no definite answer.
I can only guess.
But I know who I am.
And that is all that matters.
