The Stage
Location
I looked out into the crowd and saw nothing but the lights beaming down on me.
My hands were clammy, and my heart was beating rapidly.
I took a deep breath and assumed my position on the stage.
Raising my violin to my chin I let my bow fall on the strings.
And then the notes poured from me.
My hands moved as if their own being.
And when they finally stopped, I took my sweeping bow.
The crowd cheered and roared.
And the lights were not so bright anymore.
