I have always considered myself modest

It wasn't until the school year of 2012 

someone finally thought to point out the length of my shorts and skirts

funny

it seemed that when I put on leggings, suddenly my skirt was the correct length

I guess that my legs just needed to be a different color

My friend has always looked good in whatever she wore

She wears shirts very often, ones of a modest length

One day they caught her red-handed doing what?

wearing a skirt that was more than three inches above the knee

They gave her detention over the weekend

They also saw it as part of her punishment to call her a "slut".

I had a couple detentions that year

I can say that I know what it's like to do the janitors job

I can also tell you that they weren't doing it too well.

apparently it is completely permitted to discard your used tampon on the gym bleachers

and to chew gum and spit it on the hallway floors. 

Why should they make the length of your skirt an issue when the health of students is at risk?

"because of distraction" they say

I've seen it all

a guy humping a girl in class

people reading unrelated books in class during a lesson

not to mention, I once ate sushi during a lesson, and nobody did anything, but call me "sushi girl" for a week

Why would you let three inches above the knee be the perfect lenth, maybe for you

some people prefer different styles.

How 'bout that?
