Taking Chances

“Everyone always says that
you have to take
chances.
But I want to make
my own chances.
I want to lead fate
in my own direction and
feel the risk in my fingertips.
To begin something, with a blank mind
to begin somthing, where only time
can tell you if it's what you thought
only time spent, to figure what you've bought.
Most people never begin,
Tonight is the night.
There is no stopping.
After this, it’s all over, and then what are you going to do?
You’ll have that paper in your hand,
You’ll be done, and where will you go?
“No clue” – she says.
