Daddy,I wish you could get to know me. See the things that I see.I wish you wanted to see me.
Right when Im feeling high,
and im lifting off the ground,
you look up into the sky,
and you reach and pull me down,
Youre like a tick without a feeling,
youre a parasite I swear,
you always said you loved me.
I was never sure how true it was.
You yelled and called me names,
and I never told you how much it hurt.
You said' you'd take care of me,
but how can you really watch me,
