Raven
The sky felt dense,
The mood it gave off,
Like moths in hue,
And butterflies in pale,
The showering of haze,
Over us at ease,
It’s not seen,
And there I won’t be seen,
A stained glass tragedy
A matching crystal ball
Tossed much like that of bowling
Speeding orbs down God's old rumored hall
When sleep eludes me,
What can I do?
When wounds won't bleed,
And those truths which I thought I knew,
About myself, are no longer me;
How does this crow fly in a sky which is no longer blue?
The rooster's crow warns me that dawn has comeMy sleepy eyes resist my need to riseI blindly reach for her but she is goneThen hear a sound that much to my surpriseReveals she hasn't left but still is near
There once was a wise crow it said
“I carry the world upon my head”
though it’s fate was to end up dead,
the world will bloom where it will tread.
There's a monster in my closet,
He tells me how I'll die,
He tells me when I'll go,
When I'll say goodbye,
Oh this monster in my closet,
Hears a tap on my window,
There's a crow waiting,
I am a bird
I am free to fly wherever I want
But I choose to stay in my nest
There are people out there who's job is to hunt
But my nest is the best and I choose not to stray
I love my nest
The black bird hiddenA crow, dark as nightAmong the willow branchesCascading to the groundA song so mournfulFlat and broken, a puzzleIncomplete.
How beautiful the crow is as he sits up in the tree,
ruffling up his feathers while staring down at me.
His gaze is unfaltering and at me he continues to stare,
I can see what he has endured and the pain he can bare.
Hello, hello
Mr. Crow
I wonder why you fly so low?
To instill fear, or to enchant?
To feast on some precarious ant?
You land on hills and slopes and branches
Causing insect avalanches,
Black
Darker than night
Cold
Cruel
Soaring out of sight
Unafraid
Piercing me with your steady gaze
Krahe… Crow
