worthlessness

All it takes is one moment,
On second,
One thought
You don't have to want to. . .
Because all it takes
Is to feel like you have to
All it takes is one hand,
One voice,
A weight so heavy it feels like my chest will collaps, a darkness that fills my eyes.
Wondering everyday if it'll be different or better, but I know it won't
How did I get here?
Why did I stay?
I’m searching for sunshine,
But my home is the rain.
Home is the prison I don’t want to escape,
Have I ever wished
to dive into a ravine?
I would have said no.
I'm forced to say yes.
What were once my sweetest dreams
crash upon the rocks.
Drain the mania;
Looking down, curling broken feet,
through the pungent odour of burnt cotton,
My clothes are burned,
flesh cavernous and scarred,
To be a bastard is to be fatherless
To be a bastard is to have a father in Heaven
To be a bastard is to be without the Father in Heaven
Seizures
in ability to move
powerlessness
Weakness?
Worthlessness?
NEVER!
Power! Strength! Heart! Hope!
Tell me, have you ever had to lie?
Have you ever had to cry?
Have you ever fought for approval of your peers?
Have you ever tried to fight your fears?
If you have, it’s okay. I will catch your tears.
