personal wanderlust wilderness nature appreciation

Long did I wander in mountains of green
Around me was nothing of man to be seen.
My friends and I walked across mountains so high
It seemed we could reach up to touch the blue sky.
No longer a boy, I walked as a man
I want to camp in the wilderness
Be accompanied solely by the orchestra of crickets and nocturnal wildlife
With a dim fire and a great novel
I want to lay down and look up
