I want to crumble to the ground
Swallowed by the Earth
Six feet deep
Unable to feel
Worms n maggots
Flooding my soul
pen and paper
thoughts and quiet
go hand in hand.
with the worst of them all
the depths of the human mind,
the known details of mankind
One word
One vicious word that makes us shudder

Your world is crumbling, therefore so is mine
You are paler, weaker, sadder
I become the adult here
THE FAILURE I AM
Every single I touch seems to fail apart,
Every heart I love ends up broken and shattered apart.
I tried to love,
But I just wasn’t as good as the man above.
A little girl heard the seas call
And was swept into the ocean
Into the dark depths she fell
Waves smashing, crashing down
What was I to do but drown
Chocking on the salty taste of hell
Moonchild by Teresa Cruz
Summer night drives through the town I called home.
Every single street silent and dark
only the light of my friend to make me feel safe.
My friend,
The Moon.
in darkness, we found solace. you recognized my confusion, and i understood your pain. we shared misgivings about our purpose in life, and the way the world should be. your tiny blue bedroom was our haven.
At seven years old, taller than the rest.
Quiet, shy, obedient,
I look into the mirror and see,
The eczema dripping on my skin,
Summer 16
I often lived my life to the same degree and expectation as everyone else did
I was a kid in a world of things that never pertained to my abilities and passions
When you see that toy airplane fly never any doubts in you mind,
Suddenly that time goes by and those toys are lost in the depths of time….
Mom seems to be struggling with those simple tasks
When I was kid everything was simple and went like a blur
I was ignorant but I was sure
I was given so much time to play to have fun
but now I am always on the run.
There is so much bad in the world
Who am I ? by Allison Hernandez
Who was I, just a kid with a big imaginary dream
Who enjoyed to go play at the park and eat chocolate ice cream
