We did it again today
spent time like millionaires
talking, laughing, breathing
Sunshine kissed the top of your head
as soft as you hold my hand
keeping me from getting lost
in the clouds of the world
Love is respect and honesty and trust
Being happy with the person you are
That feeling of true love and not just lust
It’s far from love if they leave you a scar
Your “lover” should never want you to change
You were nervous. You weren''t sure why, but you asked me out.
I accepted.
You made me feel different. I didn't know what this warmth was.
I kissed you.
I was confused, why did you choose me?
I could sit here in your silence forever
It's big and welcoming, like a hug
But if I ask you not to touch me, you will not
If I ask you not to speak to me, you will not.
