Oh poor Geppetto what ever happened to thee
locked in your mind without the right key
Longing for a crust of bread and a glass of wine
The woods are where the bad things happen, they said
Where the evil goes
To celebrate its victories
To dance with hungry wolves
I don't believe in happily ever after.
I don't believe in Santa.
I don't believe in love.
I didn't choose to be this way
I didn't choose false hope.
Ever since I was a child it was
There was once a time in a far off place
A town sat about a strange, but not unfamiliar, monolith
Stood there a palace built on hate and waste

Sitting on her throne, the Queen admired the empire she had built for herself.
Cinderella,
met a lame fella,
who couldn’t remember her face.
He relied on a shoe,
to find you know who…
What a disgrace!
Poor Cinderella didn’t know,
they had left the window open
with only a thin blanket
to cover them in the night
and so, the cold overtook them
when you told the Darlings
Once upon a time
There was a Dime
And it had a heart that grew
As big and as wide
As the Ocean Blue.
What became of that heart
