Hi Friend!So remember the other day
When we were in my car
And you said you can’t think
Of anyone who likes you?
Then I sarcastically replied,
Pop, the leader of the age,
Confined in today's mainstream cage,
Who's designed to give what the masses want
While every station encourages her flaunt.
Rock, the rebel, born of rage,
Sketching the world in a little black notebook;
preferably the kind that highlights the light.
Walk by and find that your figure has danced on my paper.
I fail to see the reflecting light subside.
