Colleen Miller, 17, Voice as a Weapon of Choice. Utilizing Stained Glass, this piece represents using your voice as a weapon. In the movie, if the police used his voice instead of a weapon Khalil would have lived. 
WARNING: This poem is about an actual event that occured on March 17, 2017 an unarmed man was shot and eventually died. This poem is my way of honoring his life
             I’m sick of the police  I am tired of cops who are providing death and not safety But were they really ever here to protect blacks  Never this was created to bring us back to our “masters” during slavery
