Wings out stretched, feathers fluttering in the wind.
"Don't go towards the sun," they said. "you'll fall to your death"
So Icarus stayed low
You said I'll fail
You said there's no way
You said I'd never make it
But guess what
I'm here
I've made it
I reached my goals
I'm on my way
Once i had a dream.
I had a dream i was building a house of cards.
But i never got past the base.
It kept falling and falling.
I am in a constant state of fear.
I’m afraid of interviews,
And I’m afraid of bugs.
I’m afraid of failure,
And I’m afraid of the dark.
I’m afraid of conversations,
And I’m afraid of being alone.
