I miss you so much, god knows how much I miss you from your kind heart to the kisses on the cheek when you laid me down for bed. When I  was little kid growing up I thought you was a solider and could never get hurt.
Mammy Gas’s old age is showing Her steps unsteady, trembling fingers I look at her; it’s difficult knowing Very little strength within her lingers
I am fading. I am fading, but I am still here. I am losing. I am losing my memory, but I still love you.
My mind misplaces memorable moments Names, dates, and childish desires I learn to outgrow my momentous moments Awards, accomplishments, and achievements Yet, I do not yearn to regain my meaningful meditations
