When an angel kissed a garden
A bright light was exposed
The garden flourished deeply, with a darkly colored rose
When a human found the garden, and looked upon the rose
I am in love with the lines on your face,
A decade of wearing you down.
Emotions run like rushing water,
Engraining caverns of joy and pain,
Of thoughtfulness and contemplation
Of a million experiences

And we understand it's true
That words can be so heavy
Even when they're so few
It's their emotional pounds
That weigh you down
That make you afraid

I begin to creep out of bed and hear your quiet morning voice
Asking me for coffee half asleep, I don’t hesitate
Sometimes words can be tossed,
Their actual meanings lost.
