A bird with a broken wing
Its memory of greatness;
A stretched canvas of warm embrace
Air cut by swift blades of persistence
Unobtainable freedom by many,
While the few idolize their grasp of identity:
A minuscule moment in a gargantuan globe,
Not significant at all,
But the day my baby passed away,
I swear I saw the heavens fall.
Humanity knows nothing, and everything is a question, from the insignificant to the minutely less insignificant, like why did I have a bad day, and why does the universe exist.
Let me grip tightly to this life in this moment
With everything standing still while time is stolen
I'm insignificant
Just a tiny little ant
In a cruel, vast world
I'm just one stupid human
I've got no acumen
And the have always whirled
One time, i wrote a poem
On a piece of paper with
No lines.
And i cried,
Smudging all the little letters.
The ants drowned by
Saltwater.
They thrashed and thrashed and thrashed,
Keep your eyes shining
Keep yourself locked away
Look for the silver lining
say what they want you to say
