Overwhelmed another word for a mental breakdown from the lack of oxygen that is in this room
Panic attack my lungs cannot take in what you haven’t given
I see my 9 year old sister with her face glued to a tablet.
And I can't help but question technology.
It has its perks.
But is it worth it?
I see couples staring at their phones instead of each other.
Dear dad,
To this very day,
There is so much to say,
Pen to paper,
No ink,
Please don't go away.
Dear dad,
Each step means no less,
It matters not to me,
Terrible is the night we wait on
When the terrible things arrive.
The blame is placed,
The hand is stilled,
The suspense ticking alive.
Fires all set blazing
Have you ever seen anything so sad?
Children run around half-naked while their parents wait for more pills to come to town.
Teens walk around with cigarettes in their hands and alchohol in their systems.
I was crying all the time,
She couldn’t be there for me.
The children were sad,
My heart was hurting.
You always leave me to fend by my own.
Father, I call, but I do not see you.
How, then, do I say this place is my home?
Migrating bird, you got fed up and flew.
