Poems from kermitthefrog
Hiiii, my writing name is E.A Garner, cause why not, and I am a gifted kid burnout who’s failing english class but never stopped thinking in poetic internal monologues. Most of my poems are really just vents that ended up being really metaphorical. Typing all my time away
my breath slows down, I cannot stay
much longer
oh how my eyes long
to rest until the day is done
and wake up...
How long until your frozen body turns to snow?
How long until the icicles growing out of your neck and into your lungs spread brittle...
The static is impossible.
I try to swim, but I drown in it.
It is quicksand and I am a rock, sinking further and further into the black....
