I am just an aspiring poet/writer who enjoys writing as an escape, or as I like to refer to as my "meditation." Writing helps me put thoughts, emotions, and creativity on paper. I first started writing as a way to organize my own life, but it slowly became a "hobby" where I write whatever was on my mind at the time. I hope I can find individuals who seek to accommodate each other in fulfilling our "dreams" of being a memorable writer. My favorite "evangelists" in life are Tupac A. Shakur (singer), Bruce Lee (martial artist/actor), Jesus the Christ (religious figure), Alan Watts (philosopher/speaker), Siddhartha Gautama the Buddha (religious/philosophical figure), George Carlin (comedian/writer/speaker), Charles Bukowski (writer/poet), Hunter S. Thompson (writer)... and many more! If there were "tenets" or principles I'd say are the most important to live by, they would be: be yourself/be real/be true to yourself at all times; love to forgive, fight to survive; truth can only be validated within oneself; be balanced; be open-minded. This is just some of the things I've learned so far in my unpredictable life, and I learn something new everyday (whether I notice or not). We are imperfect beings, and that is what makes life worth living. Peace, and stay blessed!
