I am the girl,
the girl with the curly brown hair,
with straightened bangs,
bangs that have grown too long—
long enough to hide...
Golden days are full of bloom
But inside petals is dark
of gloom.
Beneath waxy leaves
are hidden shadow
Secret dark within
the meadow.
Heavy sunshine sets the leaves aflame
Until, by and by, it doth remain.
But then it cools and remains no more
So the leaves turn brown and...
