Poems from RuthAbigail
I'm sorry
for being a mess
and not being skinny enough
and pretty enough
and funny enough
and smart enough.
And talented
and normal
and...
Love looks like
A fresh piece of notebook paper,
Crisp and neat,
A pen dancing through its lines.
Love is like
Painting your nails;
It...
I put all of my feelings about you
In jars of glass,
Transparent to everyone
But you.
I've hung out with your friends
Multiple times...
The cold, unforgiving bleachers
Sat stoically that day,
Catching tears as they dripped.
An endless slideshow played,
Showing a joyful...
The snow dances down
Like prima ballerinas,
Floating and flitting.
It lands with not one small sound,
A lull, then orchestra swells.
