Poems from OneLife_2Live
A lot of my former class mates from school, know me as the girl who got up in front of the class to read my poetry. Well back then, I had no idea how far I could go with them. But now I do. I used to feel like my poems were the only thing I could truly call my own and no one could ever take them from me. However, I have decided to share them with you all. I have realized the importance of these poems. Yes, my life hasn't been in the best, but writing has become my outlet. Some of these may seem strange, so if you have any questions let me know. I'm an open book. These poems are my life, my thoughts, and feelings, spoken. These poems represent who I am. Please enjoy :)
I take a step back
catch my breath.
Hand on my chest,
feeling the heart beat.
Glad I still possess.
Is a lost love able
to take a part...
You were young, but old enough
to remember it all.
Your eyes fillled with hope,
Ideal to take as their own.
They were mistaken to...
I'm trapped behind walls
Cold but not alone
Hearing voices and calls
Prison now a home
Punishment for the innocence
I took away her...
I wish I could change the world,
so much still left unturned.
The violence in society not sustained,
Fault brought to us, still unclaimed...
